The contact owns a 2010 Ford F150. The contact stated that when sitting in the vehicle, the head rest would apply extreme pressure to the back of his head. The head rest would push his head downward and he would have to look upward and over his glasses in order to see the road. The dealer advised the contact that the older model F150 head rests were two inches farther back than the newer models and the design was changed based on safety standards and crash test results. The dealer was unable to provide a remedy for the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer would not provide any assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 100 and the current mileage was 850. Updated 10/26/10. Updated 10/26/10
