This issue effect vehicles with dual climate control. One side (passenger) gets cold air, no matter what the setting. Drivers side works perfectly. The blend door has failed. The part is cheap, under $50, but the whole dash has to come out to refit it. This is very labor intensive $$. And if you don't have a good mechanic, you'll have dashboard squeaks the rest of your life.
