According to my dealer, swollen lug nuts are a common problem resulting from defective design. Result is you can't remove a flat tire with usual tools. Although it is an easy fix, Ford has not risen to the occasion. That's not why I decided against buying a new F-150. The response of Ford to this (my only complaint in years of use of Ford products) was off the charts bad. So, I figure mistakes are a part of life, but indifference to those mistakes causes me to avoid Ford vehicles.
