Driving on the interstate, having added fuel the night before, to a half tank, the gauge dropped from half to Empty. Drove to Ford dealer. They told me, "Found the fuel tank had collapsed. The canister purge valve is stuck open, applying vacuum to fuel tank all the time. Released the vacuum, the tank did NOT return to original tank. Needs canister purge valve, fuel tank and fuel pump. Cost will be $2340.18
