One day the LCD display say that my Left-Rear door was open. Checked it and it was closed. Slammed it closed a few times, sprayed a ton of lube into the latch etc... and still it says that it's open... but it's not. Pretty annoying, because now the interior light always stays on for like 10 minutes after I leave the truck.
Update from Aug 8, 2018: After some checking online, it sounded like a common problem was the wiring at the door (where the wires go from the body to the door).
I pulled back the rubber accordion cover and found a broken wire. It was broken exactly flush with the end of the hard plastic piece that is in there to hold the wires in a "U" shape. Also 4 other wires had very cracked wire shields and pretty soon my door lock and window would not have been working either.
Soldered the wire back together (had to add a short piece to reach) and wrapped lots of electrical tape around the rest of the wires. Hopefully that will keep them from breaking off too.
