I will say I beat the sh*t out of the truck, and she has been one hell of a good runner. Hell, I even jumped the truck a few times off road, go through pot holes as if they weren't ever there, etc....very good truck.
That said, I drove the truck nearly non stop without turning the engine off except for fuel from Portland, Oregon to Kansas City in less than 24 hours. Truck drove great, in temps with a high of 5 degrees with a low of 30 below zero. When I finally parked the truck for the night at my friends house and left to leave in the AM, she turned over fine and let it warm up. After 5 minutes of warming up of what I usually do, she gave me a hell of a time going from neutral to reverse. I pulled out of the spot, and it was hard to shift out of reverse...and then even with all my body weight I could not get the tranny to shift into any gear period. I let the truck stay in the parking lot for 30 minutes plus to let the engine heat melt anything in the engine compartment (fluids, built up ice, etc), and nothing worked. Called a friend who is a mechanic and he was floored by the issue too.
I had the truck towed to the dealer, and after the final analysis, it was the slave cylinder went out. There are 2 other small parts that were replaced as well, total cost was $1306.57. Extended warranty would not cover a dime bc they say it is a hydraulic issue, something apparently not covered....bastards.
I pick up the truck from the dealer in a few weeks when I get back into town from being a truck driver. Hopefully I wont have anymore issues.
