We live in the state of Maine so in the winter when you need to use your 4 wheel drive to get to work it was a real pain in the ass ! I have a ( wife ) a jeep 2001 so it depended on who had to go the farthest in bad weather so he would take my jeep and I would be stuck with his truck ! WHY CANT THEY MAKE A VEHICHLE that lasts a year past the vehicle warrenty !!! YOU know when we bought this truck the first thing they tried to sell us was an exstended warrenty . I looked at them and said you arnt showing me much coffindence in your ford truck if you want us to pay $1700.00 extra for that, obvisely we declined. ( we paid $28,000 dollars at zero %interest thank god) there are so many things out there that arnt made as good as the good old days I think they are made to fail so you have to buy a new item (appliances etc. no matter what brand )just after the factor warrenty runs out. And god forbid if you try make a claim within the the time frame then its pro rated. SICK AND TIRED OF BULLSHIT
