The contact owns 2006 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving 55 mph, the air bags deployed causing the contact to lose control of the vehicle. She drove onto the shoulder of the road and crashed into the wall on the drivers side of the vehicle. The contact referenced NHTSA campaign id number: 11V107000 (air bags: Frontal, driver side inflator module), she received in the mail. The vehicle was towed to the contacts home. Neither the manufacturer nor dealer were notified regarding the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was unavailable, but the current mileage was 120,000.
