This is an 2006 Ford F 150 4x4 plow ready from the factory. Not used for commercial plowing, only personal use. This truck has been a verrrrrrry expensive pain in the ass to keep on the road. Over $10,000.00 in repairs. Transmission lines rotted at 45,000 miles, had to have a new radiator at same time, starter went to hell at 63,000 miles, paint peeling all over, dealer says this is normal for a truck of this age???
In January of 2014 the frame broke!!!!! Even the dealer says they have never seen this before, the dealer tried to weld this but it did not hold. $300.00 down the drain. Now the frame has broken in the same spot again less than a month later. Now the dealer wants another $800.00 or more to try to fix this major problem. Ford factory rep. says too bad, not under warranty!!!
Cannot and will not get involved in this problem. This is what you get when you buy a FORD, JUNK JUNK. When they coined the phrase 'found on the road dead' they knew it was true. More often than not it is broke down. I do hope people will check out what kind of service they will get and how much it will cost them everytime they take their vehicle in to be repaired, if it is a FORD it will spend more time in the shop than it does in their driveway. After they take delivery of their new vehicle, I know I will never buy another Ford, never, never.
