45,000 dollar 2005 f-150 5.4 litre has serious engine problems...I'm getting ready to replace the 2nd engine..this will be the 3rd. motor. Original engine jumped timing at 94000 miles. replaced it with a 50,000 mile engine, that is now making the same noise at start the 1st. one did, right before it broke. The PU has 131,000 miles on it. I still have 5 payments left. It's horrible! Cam gears and guides are bad, from what I'm told. Bad design.
