I had new gears put in my truck to change from the factory 3:73s to 4:56s for more pep with my big tires. Within a month I thought I heard the rear end starting to whine. I was thinking "man i'll take this to them on Friday, my day off". Wednesday morning the transfer case pooped out on me driving to work.
Transfer-cases were on back order so the truck sat for almost two months. Nineteen hundred dollars later with a sore butt and a new transfer-case I drive back to work. It gets me to and from work for two weeks then the rear end takes a dump on me while driving home. I'm praying the gears are under warranty since they have hardly any miles. My truck is at the dealership and i am bracing up for another reaming.
