Purchased new Ford F-150 truck from dealership in April 2004. Wavy distortions in the windshield were evident. Reported defective windshield to dealership, which was then replaced in June 2004 (an approximate three week wait was required, because dealer reported that new windshields were not available.) second windshield was also distorted, and dealer in another state said that windshield should be replaced by dealer that had installed second windshield. Third windshield replaced in January 2005, after six weeks of negotiations with Ford. This third windshield also has the wavy defect.
Consumer indicated that windshield had a wave in it which distorted the vision while driving. Consumer took the vehicle to the dealer on three occasions, and had it replaced. However, the problem recurred.
Consumer noticed that after the windshield wipers went off the front windshield became blurry. This caused poor visibility to the driver. Vehicle was taken to the dealer for inspection, and mechanic replaced the windshield three times. However, the problem recurred. Consumer also had concern with vibration under the vehicle. Dealer found that the vibration is coming from the drivershaft, which was replaced by the dealer.
