Merging onto the freeway or driving down the street, no way to tell when or where, the acceleration declines as if I have removed my foot from the gas peddle. It lasts about 10-15 seconds and when I press harder on the peddle it resumes as if it never happened. Seems more frequent when engine is cold. We thought it might be water in the fuel filter. Replacing it did not help. Any ideas?
