Ford uses a gasket on the 3rd brake light which rapidly disintegrates. When the gasket material is gone, rain water pours into the gap from the roof and then fills the back seat and the ceiling panel with water.
I found that several others have already posted this occurring on YouTube which I take mean it is widespread and happens to Ford F150s from 1999-2016.
