We found that many other Ford F150 owners have piston slapping. We were told by Ford it is not a recall because it is not a safety issue. Dealer told us only thing to do is replace the engine - truck has 75,000 fairly easy miles on it. This stinks. Ford engines are not so tough. Will make resale impossible....
