The contact owns a 2002 Ford F-150. The contact stated while opening the driver-??s side rear door, the door failed to unlatch. The contact also attempted to open the passenger-??s side rear door; however, the door would not unlatch. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic and the contact was informed that the wiring harness in the doors needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 80,000.
The contact owns a 2002 Ford F150. She stated that the front passenger's side door lock would not function correctly. She had to use a screwdriver to open and close the door. The necessary repairs were made to the vehicle by the dealer. Later, the rear passenger side door lock would not function and the latch and locking mechanism would not operate normally. No repairs were made to date to correct the failure. The failure and current mileages were under 50,000.
Passenger door would open while vehicle was moving. The consumer also stated that the vehicle vibrated while driving. The consumer mother-in-law fell while trying to get into the front passengers side door of the truck. The brakes would lock up intermittently.
