Spark plug blew out of head on a Ford lightning (completely stock, never modded). This issue is a known issue with 5.4L motors, and is a $2000-$3000 repair that typically happens after the manufacturers warranty is expired. Mine happened at 39,000mi.

Spark plug was blown out of head. Dealer claims head is not repairable, requires new head. No warranty from Ford, they claim they have never seen this problem however the Ford service managers at several locations claim it's a ver common problem.
