Ford Motor Company is not contacting current vehicle owners of serious recall notices. I surrendered my 2000 Ford F150 pickup to barber Ford of ventura, California when I traded it in for a newer model. Since then, I have received numerous notices on safety recall #05S28 for this vehicle. I have contacted Ford Motor Company numerous times and asked them to contact the current owner with no resolution. I have now received another notice dated July 2007. Today I called the NHTSA to file a complaint that Ford is not contacting the current owner of the vehicle of a serious safety recall per federal regulation. I was told by your staff that she would not take a complaint, that I needed to contact Ford, or the ca attorney general's office, or the federal trade commission. I have already contacted Ford numerous times with no resolution, was referred back to the NHTSA by the ca attorney general's office, and referred to the NHTSA by the federal trade commission. So, here I am, back to you, the NHTSA. Ford Motor Company is not complying with federal regulation and nobody is willing to enforce the regulation, not even the NHTSA. Any suggestions"???" thank you.
