The rear differential was fixed 3 times. When backing out of a driveway if the shifter was in drive, the vehicle shuttered. The vehicle was taken to the dealer 4 times within a 100,00 miles. The engine failed on one occasion.
The rear end bearings were defective and may cause the driveshaft to drop out of vehicle. One could hear a rumble/whining noise up to 40 yards away. The rear end was overhauled.
