Re: 2000 Ford F150. In Sept 2003 brakes were grabbing. Took truck into dealer and paid over $600 to replace brakes (front and back). Dealer said rear brake rotors were warped and shoes and pads were also bad. Jan. 14, 2004 - ABS light stays on. Took truck into dealer and was told hcu unit needs to be replaced and it would cost $700, which I don't have. Was told truck could be driven but ABS would not work properly.
