Passenger power door lock failed, necessitating passenge to roll down car widow to use exterior door handle to get out. Driver side door lock soon failed in exact same manner.
My 1999 F150 door locks have been replaced at 25,000 and 45,000 miles. Now the drivers side power lock has failed again at 79,000 miles. The local Ford deales states this is normal for a car made in America.
Owner's child can open the front doors without unlocking them while vehicle is being driven. Dealer says that's how front doors are suppose to be designed.
