Rear sliding window leaking and driver's door was chipping paint due to weak metal used. Dealer / manufacturer notified, and informed consumer that they were aware of the problem, but nothing could be done.
Rear window has a leak on the passenger side of the sliding window that has been sent back to the shop several time for repairs. Its on oing ! the window has been replaced w/ frame three times, but the truck has been in shop several times prior to and after the windows have been replaced. It would last a short time and would then start leaking all over again. ** presently still leaking **. # 2. engine has a knock during start up. Sounds more like a diesel ! both issues have been present since 14,000 miles or so. This truck has had several problems. To mention a few ; rear bumper rusting out, door & shift nobs breaking, body paint peeling, rattle in floor gear shift ( still present ), ** now the air conditioning is not working **. I like the truck, but would rather have one with out all the problems !
Every time it rains, water pours in the top of the rear window and soaks the rear seat.when I contacted the dealer, they said this happens frequently with these trucks, but that Ford was not responsible.

Six months after purchasing vehicle back window started to leak, took to dealer, and they said that it was not under warranty. Top of the window is still leaking.
Water pours in through rear window when it rains; dealer resealed window but it still leaks; dealer replaced window with a new design to fix problem; dealer charged me $350; should I have to pay for a design flaw?
I was told that I would have to pay a deductable to have this fixed. It is a hazard because my windshield wipers do not work half the time, and when they do not work, the windows will not roll down so therefore I can not see when it rains. There was something wrong with it when I bought it and I feel I should not have to pay the deductable.
Back rear window leaks and they have failed to fix three times at two different dealers. The first dealer failed to tell me there was a recall on the window. The second dealer fixed it under some kind of recall and now refuses to fix it again. The window is still leaking.
I have had the back light resealed twice already, still leaks...have heard it is a cracked window frame, a design flaw and some have had the dealer replace with a new window. Mine because out of warranty is my problem. I had it fixed once under warranty, but the problem still exists and sidney Ford doesn't want to do anything about it....poor customer service and warranty service!!!
While driving at approximately 60 mph an object fell of a truck in front of consumer. Consumer moved from left to right to avoid hitting the object. 8-year old daughter that was strapped in hit the window latch which caused a small cut to open up.
