While driving 40-45 mph had a direct frontal impact in which the driver's and passenger's airbags did not deploy, which did not protect the occupant in this accident. Cause unknown.
The consumer has been experiencing problems with driver's side air bag. The consumer was involved in an accident while going 35mph. Driver's air bag failed to deploy. The manufacturer has yet to be contacted.
While driving approximately 50 to 55 mph, the vehicle began to gain speed on its own. Trying to avoid hitting another vehicle, the car went into and hit an embankment head-on. Neither air bag deployed, and none of the three seat belts held passengers. Driver sustained face and head injuries. Front passenger suffered neck and shoulder injuries. Back passenger sustained head injuries and abrasions. Dealer and manufacturer were notified.

Vehicle was involved in a collision at 45mph. Upon impact, the airbags did not deploy, and the seat belt restraints did not retract, resulting in minor injuries. The manufacturer has been notified.

Mfr # 97S86 NHTSA recall # 97V171000; consumer contacted the dealer to have recall work corrected. Work was corrected. However, the consumer was involved in an head-on collision traveling 15 mph due to the steering wheel locking up. Consumer also stated the driver's and passenger's side air bags did not deploy.
Vehicle involved in two separate crashes, same day, dual airbags did not deploy. Truck rearended two other vehicles at standstill, both occurrences; speeds 45 mph. Also, emergency fuel cut-off switch did not shut off. Truck at body shop.
Brakes: Driving approximately 45mph and the car ahead slammed on its brakes. Tried to stop, put pedal completely to the floor and the brakes failed, hit car in front and neither air bags deployed. Brakes and air bags failed, reason is unknown.
The truck accelerated in the driveway, tried to stop but the brakes wouldn't stop, causing the truck to hit a brick wall in the garage. The airbag didn't deploy. The truck accelerated to about 30 mph.
While traveling about 45 mph another vehicle pulled out in front of vehicle and consumer hit the other vehicle in the side door. The airbag didn't deploy and the anti-lock brakes failed.
While driving at 55 mph, blew a tire and had direct frontal collision and both airbags did not deploy. Insurance company states that there is no defect with the sensor.
