Spark plug wires need replacing. This is a VERY common problem and if you replace with Ford OEM spark plug wires, you will need to replace every 18months. FORD makes nice trucks, but they dont last more than 8-10yrs, and after 5-7yrs you find yourself repairing/replacing something every 3-6 months.
Recommendation: Buy Toyota. Not as nice as Ford, but much more reliable and long lasting.
