Vehicle was parked in the garage for a few hours when all of a sudden it caught on fire on its own. Results showed that there was a short with the cruise control switch.
Cruise control was inoperative. Dealership informed consumer that cruise control switch melted. The problem was not resolved. Consumer stated that sometimes the cruise control works and sometimes it doesn't. when the cruise control was turned off it would not come back on for a while.
The top of the engine caught fire while the vehicle was parked. The consumer took the vehicle for an inspection. Results showed that there was a shortage with the cruise control wire.
