Steering essentially tells you where you want the truck to go, which is not at all helped by the many inches of play in the steering. Keeping it on the road is a physical and mental exertion, because one must constantly throw the wheel to and fro to prevent the 5000 pound machine from crashing or hitting pedestrians. This problem has been repaired once since we purchased it at 130,000 miles and has returned. The power steering pump has burned out and been repaired once (by us). Power steering fluid has leaked and been repaired numerous times.
