This is an annoying problem and a safety hazard. Sometimes and increasingly more often, the door when it closed would not latch. Which means two things happen; the door warning chimes incessantly and the door could and will open while the car is in motion. At first it only happened once in awhile and by reopening and re-closing it would be OK. But it got to where it happened more and more frequently and you could not get the door to latch and the chiming would be a real annoyance. I got to where I could get out and go to the door and have someone inside the vehicle trigger the close button and then (If I was lucky) I could put a little extra force just as the door should latch and if not lucky try again till I got it to latch. So, we quit using the door, but every once in awhile someone forgets and opens the door. I tried the dealership and they did not have an answer, short of paying them to tear into it and see what they could find, of course allowing them an open ended budget.
