Bought the vehicle used with only 13,000 miles on it from a Ford dealer. Check engine light turned on during the first week and dealer replaced throttle body under warranty. Truck started slamming gears a couple weeks later, took it to a dealer closer to home, they said the throttle body was bad (again?) and needed to reprogram the transmission. Truck was fine for a couple months then started to slam gears again very violently, took it in again and they had it for 3 weeks, rebuilt much of the transmission, replaced a wire and reprogrammed it again. Two weeks later it starts slamming again and having a very hard time getting into gear. Rolls back on hills and slams into reverse and 1st, 2nd gears. Took it back again and they think it's the wiring harness...
They have it now, it's been 5 days and no end in sight. I've had it less than a year and need to get rid of it, but haven't had it out of the shop long enough to even have it appraised for a trade on something else. Very frustrating!!!
