This car is is comfortable and wonderful to drive when it is not in the shop. The dealership has been right on top of problems. They have been worked out and repaired until now. We have had 2 coils to go out. From what I understand there are 2 more coils to this auto and they too will go out. We have had transmission problems. Recalls were addressed. The car was given us a problem with starting but by waiting a few minutes it would soon start. This happen on different occasion but we felt in was the way the key was put into the connection to start the car. On May 5th 2010 this was the case. I had same problem but when I tried to start the car after a few minutes nothing happen. We had the car loaded for a trip. We tried for 4 hours nothing happen. Very Mad. Called Ford Motor Company and talk to saled rep Joline or Joreen not completely sure of name . She was very nice I was very mad as I had loaded a car for a trip and my car that was just serviced would not start. We made plan changes. Have extended warranty. Car has 72,300. mile but well taken care.Called dealership talked with my service rep Carrie she gave me number to tolling service. Called tolling service they arrived car started up like a champ. Tolled the car anyway because something is wrong.. Dealing had car for several days no problems. Finally after servral days car showed trouble. The service department (Carrie is my service rep at the dealership very good and helpful )called said they had found problem. It was the instrument cluster panel. Was in the shop another 7 days. Was called by service dept car was repaired can come and pick it up.Joline or Joreen called and left voice mail wanting to know if I had picked-up car. Returned call only to get a long list of automotive voice things to punch. No Joline or Joreen contact. Drove car for 22 miles lights, bells and the whole dash lite up stop car immediately. Tuned off car and tried starting it again . It did not start. Called service manager Jerry Green, he called tolling company. I got rental car covered on my extended warranty. Car is still at Ford dealership has no idea what is wrong but assured me they are looking. They still are providing me a rental car. Ford Motor Company has been called and was to contact me by 2 business days. I called them on 20th I have not heard from Joline or Joreen yet. I was given a case # by the Ford Motor Co customer service rep Joline or Joreen. My complaint is that I over extended myself by buying a new auto to have less maintenance problems and know because our job (which is in the medical field) will get us there safely and dependably. That has been not the case. If anyone could see how this car has been cared for they will know that we are responsible working class people. We still owe $13,000.00 dollars on this car and would like to see Ford Motor company step up to the plate. I have had a great lesson in extended warranty, be sure to buy one. If I have not had one I would have lost this car. I could have never paid the repair bills. When purchased the sticker stated that I would get 22 miles on the road. Never has that been achieved. The most road mile have been 18 and in town 14. This is false advertising that is placed on the window sticker of their Ford trac employer v-8, 2007. I am paying $500.00 a month on a auto that I have not in my possession. When I have contacted anyone concerning this matter they are very pleasant, but have offered no solution. I am reasonable to a fault but I feel this is going to get nasty..
