A D V E R T I S E M E N T S

I BOUGHT THIS CAR FROM FORD THINKING THAT I WAS GETTING A GREAT DEAL, BUT IT TURNS OUT THAT I HAVE NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS WITH THIS CAR.

THE TRANSMISSION HAS NO REVERSE. WHEN YOU SHIFT THE CAR FROM PARK TO REVERSE IT ENGAGES BUT YOU CAN REV THE GAS TILL YOU ARE BLUE IN THE FACE AND IT GOES NOWHERE. ALL THE OTHER GEARS WORK GREAT EVEN THE 4 WHEEL DRIVE. I CALLED FORD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND OF COURSE THEY GAVE ME THE RUN AROUND AND I ENDED UP SPEAKING TO 3 DIFFERENT PEOPLE. THE OUTCOME OF THAT CONVERSATION...........

WE HAVE CHECKED TE WEBSITE FOR RECALLS AND THERE ARE NONE FOR TRANSMISSIONS.

HOW CAN A CAR COMPANY BE IN BUSINESS AND MAINTAIN A GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH THEIR CUSTOMERS IF ALL THEY CLAIM IS THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO FOR YOU AT THIS TIME.

I HAVE RESEARCHED SEVERAL WEB SITES PERTAINING TO THE TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS IN FORD EXPLORERS AND DISCOVERED SEVERAL HUNDRED COMPLAINTS FOR THE SAME ISSUE WITH THE TRANSMISSION SLIPPING OR NOT GOING INTO GEAR. HOW CAN THERE BE SO MANY COMPLAINTS FOR THE SAME ISSUE AND THE FORD COMPANY DOES NOTHING TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM.
