Ford TSB #SSM 50704
2022 Ford Explorer
TSB Document:
Affected Component: EQUIPMENT
- Summary
- Some 2022 Explorer/Aviator vehicles may exhibit an intermittent passenger seat massage function with no diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs). This may be due to the configuration of the seat control module G (SCMG) and seat control module H (SCMH) modules. To correct the condition, reprogram the SCMG and SCMH and run the SCMG and SCMH configuration application with the latest software level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS). For claiming, use causal part 14F548 and applicable labor times found in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.
