This is a manufacturing problem. A must not happen to a well built brand new car. Add head aches to children due to burnt smell odors in long rides.
This vehicle also had a paint job on the roof - who checks the roof of tall vehicles, and especially if it is a woman driving it? Had I not hand washed the vehicle myself for my wife, I would not had noticed the problem until paint would peel, then warranty would be off and guess who would be paying for it?
Also, driver door is not well assembled. A wind bend it where it would make a cracking noise when opened or closed, and let me tell you we are not talking about hurricane nor tornado winds. We had used Ford trucks' doors in horrible weather over many years and they worked well, those models or vehicles were built tough like its motto. Are this new model door hinges made out of foil paper. Come on!
I expect Ford to be responsible take this vehicle and give me a different and good Ford vehicle back.
