I have a 2017 Ford Explorer Sport. The passenger side taillight is cracking from the inside and Ford is refusing to replace. First was refused for impact damage, explorer has never been hit besides it would crack on the outside first if impact damage. Second its was damage from installing and removing tail light cover. I did not get tail light covers until after I filed complaint. Excuse after excuse why they won't replace tail light despite the fact since 2011 if you look at MSRP I've spent over $300,000. Since Ford doesn't value me I guess GM or Toyota will get my money in the future. Writing William Clay Ford II but don't expect they will take care of their factory defects.
