This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
I have a 2017 Ford Explorer. The passenger side windshield trim ripped off as I was driving approximately 55 mph and flew up in the air and landed behind me. Fortunately, there was not a vehicle behind me. The driver's side was loose, and I glued it down with gorilla glue as a temporary hold. Since that time, I have noticed many Explorer with the same missing windshield trim. I feel this poses a danger not necessarily to the driver, but other drivers on the road.
