Wife's explorer with a little over 8k miles already has bad front tires. Especially the passenger side. We have never hit a pothole or curb with it. The inside of the tire is completely wasted and the rubber is starting to flake off. The driver's side is not as bad but it is getting there.

I took it to my local Ford dealership and they submitted the pictures of the tires to Ford and Hankook and they said it was an alignment issue. The car does not pull to the sides. It tracks perfectly. I don't have a problem fixing wear and tear items but I do have a problem with having to spend $500-$600 on two tires and an alignment. My F150 has 24k miles and it has never been re-aligned. Hopefully Ford or Hankook will realize that there is something wrong with these tires.
