I started the engine but no lights on the dash panel. The truck was very hard to steer and gas pedal was not working. It felt like the car is on Neutral but it was on D. Since I just left home and I could stop the car at a stop sign and restart the car. An orange wrench icon displayed and everything backed to normal.
I drove the car with the wrench light for few kilometer and stop at a restaurant. I stopped/started few times and wrench always there. After I had my lunch and started the engine again the wrench icon disappeared and I would about to drove the car without issue. However, the issue didn't appeared in last 24 hours, I decide to book an appointment with a dealer to check it.
I bought the truck at end of 2015 and drove for about 43000 kilometers, but I have brought it back to dealer to repair multiple issues included replace the smart data card, throttle body, squeeze steering wheels. I had the wrench light issue back to 2015 when I just bought the car with very low mileage (less than 1000 KM), the wrench icon with other indicator lights (Hill descent control fault, ABS, traction control) flashed looked like Christmas lights. No confident with Ford and wouldn't buy it again.
