I have noticed theres a burning smelling from Heater/Ac Vents right after acceleration from vehicle being stopped. I can confirm its a burning smell (similar to burning plastic or rubber).
When the smell is present, it feels like theres lack of acceleration from the gas pedal. Almost like if there's a clogged air filter or issue with transmission or exhaust. It feels like that kind of poor acceleration issue.
The burning smells last for about 1-2 minutes and I'm not sure where its coming from. The odor is a very strong odor and I'm waiting for a fire to break out somewhere when this odor is present. I have a service appt on Monday, Feb 26 and hopefully something will be found. The last thing I want is to be driving and the vehicle breaks down, let alone catches fire for some reason.
