Bought the Explorer at the end of 2014. After a few years, the rear brakes starts to squeal and ring, mostly during long travels and every now and then during short travels. I've taken it to two(2) separate Ford dealers for the issue at least 3-4 times each dealer and every time they come back with they cannot duplicate the issue; this was during my warranty window. So I finally had to taken it in for an oil change and tire rotation, which I had to them check over the vehicle since I will be driving long distance. I get a call back after an hour of taking it in and was told that the rear brake hose has hosed up, which caused the calipers to go bad, in turn causing the pads to eat up the rotors. I brought the car in Aug 1, 2020 and found out my warranty expired on July 15. Including fixing the driver side seat belt buckle, free oil change, free tire rotation and $500 discount; I ended up paying $1025 out of pocket.
I would not recommend any Ford vehicle to anyone, ever!
