Mechanic said it is a rack problem. I am 12 days past the recall date for this problem. However noise is all, no steering problem. It doesn't vibrate, shimmy, or jump - just makes noise. None of the problems associated reported for bad rack - just noise. $2000 to fix they say. I have had other recalls done on this car and have had tech tell me this car had other older model parts used from previous model year on it.
