My vehicle was struck by a tractor trailer at 55-60 mph while sitting still. The impact caused my vehicle to spin and be embedded into the guardrail. None of the airbags deployed.

The whole Front control interface module has gone out along with some functions of the APM. Just stopped all of a sudden. Turned key on and nothing worked. The airbag light has come on saying solid color. The rear tailgate will not open with the electronic power buttons. This all went out at one time. Is confirmed to be the FCIM and AMP. Is a safety hazard due to airbags, not known if will work and the inability to open rear tailgate. Other failures are climate control. Is stuck on high heat defrost in middle of Wisconsin summer, but not a real safety issue but very inconvenient.

My wife experience "spontaneous acceleration" of our Ford Explorer. My wife was pulling into a walgreens parking lot, slowed down to turn into a parking space when the car lunged forward at a high rate of speed. My wife had her foot on the brake as she was entering the space, but the brake could not control the car. There was an extreme and spontaneous acceleration. Once the car hit the pole, it automatically shifted into reverse even with my wife applying the brake. The car came to a stop after hitting a parked truck. Additionally, the air bags did not deploy even though there was enough force on the front end to make the airbags deploy.

I was driving on a residential street approximately two minutes from my home to run an errand. I was using the hands-free device on my phone as per Texas law. There is one way each way with a yellow double line divider and many people park on the side to check mail walk dogs etc. So I tend to drive so that I won't hit those individuals. The road is curvy and I noticed that I was starting to veer off into the grass and I tried to steer back left and press my brakes at which time I realized that my brakes were not working and I could not get back on the road. I then ran over a fire hydrant which did not decelerate my car nor did it deploy my airbag; continuing to depress the brakes I am then hit a large light post which continued to not decelerate the car and not cause any airbag to deploy, and I still could not turn my wheel to the left (or to the to the roadway); there was a large delivery truck waiting to get into the gated community on the right-hand side and I ran into that vehicle stopping my car and totaling it where are the complete front end of my car was completely destroyed (pushed in) yet my airbags did not deploy. I was going to posted speed of 35 mph as I always do. My car had recently been inspected as required by the state because it is out for renewal in August 2017. I bought the car less than three years ago as a Ford certified used car with a 10 year 100,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty on it. It had less than 67,000 miles on it at the time of the incident. If the truck had not been there to stop my car, there is no other obstruction other then a major highway and I probably would not have survived.

On May 31, 2017, I was involved in a collision in which my 2013 Ford Explorer struck a red light runner at approximately 35 - 40 mph. My vehicle sustained significant front end damage. So much so, it's a total loss. The most alarming detail is that my airbags didn't deploy at the time of the accident!! neither the driver side nor the passenger side. I know that Ford has a number of recalls in regards to defective airbags but I couldn't find anything in regards to the 2013 Ford Explorer even though there have been a number of complaints. Ford really needs to look into these defective airbags within this model before someone is killed or severely injured. No warning lights, no airbag lights, etc... Ford is even refusing to send a "rep" to where my vehicle is being held to conduct an inspection of it...

I was standing at a red light and was rear ended by a speeding driver. I was catapulted into the truck standing in front of me. The front end of the car was totaled, as well as the frame bent from the rear; where I was hit originally only milliseconds before. I bought the vehicle because of the air bag protection, no airbags deployed. A fireman on scene commented that he could not believe that the airbags did not deploy. My vehicle is in the police impound lot, because of an accident resulting in injuries. I have since shown the pictures to several people, even mechanics; and they have all stated that there is something wrong with the airbags, since they did not deploy. The insurance company is demanding that I release the vehicle to them immediately.

My husband [xxx] went toholman Ford dealership in mt laurel NJ.to return vehicle for a deal with holman Lincoln Ford and the manager told our sales representative [xxx] that there is a recall on it and parts will not be in until September. #1 what is the safety recall" #2 why tell us to bring vehicle in if no intentions were to buy back vehicle ? that is what the deal was since I had breast cancer surgery and unable to drive vehicle for 9 months or longer they offered to buy it back, my husband [xxx] had appointment with [xxx] and manager @2:30;06/23/2014. Manager would not even talk to my husband just told [xxx] to bring car back in September when parts are in for recall" we received no notice of any type of recall other than what we saw on nbc news this morning6-24-2014 for recalls on air bags deploying causing injuryon Ford vehicles, without notice. A safety issue for our family to drive car unknown what is wrong with it, I had problems before with gasoline leakage 2 X's and fire department came to my home to empty tank out before vehicle was placed on flat bed for the driver of flatbed's towing service to dealership, this occurred two times last year. I fear the manager on 06/23/2014 said there is a recall on it and parts won't be in till September but refused to state the recall ! unprofessional and lack of safety concern to repeated customer for years, that is not how you care about the well being of a client. #3 what are the reasons for recall, sales rep. Said manager won't even come out and talk to you about it. Parts are not in for unknown recall!!!! he wouldn't tell sales rep. The manager, I called dealership this morning AT8:30 am spoke to carol in appts on recall and [xxx] the manager not the one from yesterday and he had no recalls he see that he was aware of.
