I purchased the 2013 Ford Explorer 2 years ago and now I'm having to replace parts. My engine light came on after refueling my car. I took it to the dealer where I purchased the car. They diagnosed my car vapor management valve sticking causing it to trigger the engine light. It cost me 250.00 dollars to fix the problem. Unfortunately, I did not have extended warranty. I only had the car for a little over 2 years in which I bought it brand new. I'm very disappointed with Ford. Ford has had a lot of recalls with problems with the fuel system.
Update from Nov 18, 2014: The dealer that I went to gave me a discount for being a loyal customer.
