I am absolutely disappointed of this car.
This is the 2nd time I am replacing the whole engine, to find out the same issue, connecting rod has started knocking, making clinking noise. last time this eventually resulted in total engine failure in the middle of highway, with engine losing power, lost brake and steering. I was very lucky to pull over safely.
The whole engine was replaced at Km 145000. I spent 5000 putting in a used 95000km engine, after 25000km, again, same problem has happened.
The car has several other issues (rust around doors, back, hood, very slow brake, very dim head lights, noisy cabin, exhaust smell inside cabin, bad gas mileage, etc) I could still tolerate them as long as the car was working.
but now, Ford is a dead brand for me. I will never go back to this brand, ever again.
