Wife was leaving our driveway and the Explorer shuts completely down: engine quit, power steering gone, brakes barely work. This could have been a very serious issue had she been driving down a highway. When trying to restart, all warning lights will appear: low fuel, low brake fluid, low coolant, trac system, key system, and the wrench. There is also a clicking sound after I tried to start it & turned the key back to off, wasn’t a battery click because the key was off. We have yet to find a solution, so it’s sitting halfway down the driveway. My two concerns: what will this cost to repair & this could’ve been a lot more serious on a highway with a carload full of kids. I hope someone has a solution to prevent it from happening again.
