There was a squealing noise which would occur when the vehicle was started, but not when running. I took it to the service department since they were the only ones authorized to do warranty work, and they told me they couldn't replicate the problem and everything looked fine. A week later while driving down the highway, there is a loud clunk, and the power steering goes dead, AC stops working, and the battery light comes on. I check under the hood and the Harmonic Balancer is completely missing. This vehicle had only 7500 miles on it when this occured, and has only been driven on the highway, never off road or anything crazy that would account for this.
