We are happy to say that both the CarComplaints.com & the NHTSA data indicate no problems whatsoever with the 2010 Ford Explorer.
I replaced the compress and assorted parts that were contaminated. I feel that alternative was to buy extended warranty which would have cost $5600.00. I feel with the high priced accessories Ford should Cover vehicles with defects for 100,000 kilometers or five years and a 150,000 kilometer extended warranty on a 50/50 bases.
