I live in Fort Hood, Texas. Whee the winter is a northern Summer and the summer is basically being on the surface of the sun. 110 degrees is enough to burn your skin off just walking outside. Unfortunately, in the DEAD of the heat this past summer our A/C in the 2008 Ford Explorer went out.... ! As this is our only car, my husband is merely lower enlisted so this is really all we could afford, I had to go through torture to go anywhere. If I did my hair or put on make-up, no matter HOW long I spent on it, I still looked like a dirty hag where ever we may have gone. Sweaty with wind blown hair isn't really a nice look. Anyways, being that we have enough bills and had other issues to deal with this was last on our list, granted it got "cold" out enough to not really care. Now that I'm pregnant and the heat is right around the corner I'm getting crabby with it again. I just don't understand how the A/C could just stop working.
