When we purchased the vehicle, we noticed the hood didn't look as nice and shiny as the rest of the vehicle. We assumed it needed a good wax job. However within a year or 2, paint started to bubble and peel/flake off with out any assistance. Now we have a decent looking vehicle with a horrible looking hood. It completely devalues our car. Upon researching the problem for a solution, we are finding we aren't the only ones with the same problem. I would say the majority of year 2000+ Ford owners have the same problem as we are. Seems to me, someone (and I do mean Ford) needs to fix this problem.
