There is water leaking and it caused electrical problems to the transmission. This happened back in December and the same problem is occurring. The dealership didn't want to fix it under extended warranty so the were able to use the 50,000 Power Train Warranty. Today I had my car serviced and the same thing is happening and I am almost up to 50,000. This is my 3rd Ford Explorer and I have always been happy and never had any problems with the first two. My own mechanic says this has something to do with a water leak from the AC drain tube that is too short and leaks water on the electrical system which causes a multitude of other problems. Is anyone else having this problem.
