CarComplaints.com Notes: How can we give the 2001 model year a "seal of pretty good" when it has some problems with a slipping transmission and a known problem with the speed activation control switch? Because it's not the 2002. That's how.

I went to my friend to get my thermostat and seal replaced. He was able to get two of the screws loose on the thermostat housing but the third one just went round and round without screwing out. so he put the other two screws back in the thermostat housing and told me to watch the fluid level in the radiator until he could find time to work on it all day to get the full job done.
