Consumer replaced Firestone at (P235/75R15) tires which were not included in recall 00T-005 due to manufacturing location and request reimbursement. Nlm
When driving at night or when headlights were needed consumer noticed poor or insufficent lightening which caused poor driver's visibility. Also, manufacturer has changed design in 2001 vehicles. Consumer had some safety concerns while driving his vehicle with Firestone, wilderness P25570R16 tires. Thus far, has not experienced a problem, but was just concerned.
I was traveling down the interstate at approxiametly 75 mph. Tread of tire peeled away from the sidewalls almost perfectly. I had traveled approximately 120 miles non-stop when blowout occurred. I was traveling with my wife who is seven months pregnant with our first child. (dot number: O2-6555 tiresize: P255/70R16)

Consumer lost control of vehicle and was rolled 3 times possibly because of the Firestone Wilderness AT tires(P235 75 R15), at the time of the accident, consumer was not aware of Firestone recall and now feels the accident occurred because of the tires, consumer was injured and is requesting reimbursement, possibly related to the suspension of the vehicle.
Vehicle was parked. Noticed cracks in left rear tire near/through treads & on casing where tread meets. Took to Firestone retailer to have tires replaced & tires not on recall. Firestone, Wilderness AT, P235/75R15 with 11,000 miles.
Original tires on a Ford, Explorer 2000, R15 dot 8xhl. While driving a rental vehicle, the left rear Firestone Wilderness AT tire failed, the tire completely came off the rim. Consumer fishtailed, but was able to regain control.
Vehicle came equipped with Firestone Wilderness AT tires, consumer replaced all four tires prior to recieving notice, upon recieving consumer checked serial # and discovered that his tire were not included in recall 00T-005, consumer request reimbursement.
PE00-020; P23575R15, dot #8xhlipy329, original equipment on 2000, Ford, Explorer with 29,000 miles. On both rear tires there is visible evidence of cracks developing around the edges of the tread, consumer can actually see cord. Five tires were replaced at owner's expense due to discovery of visible cracks and tread separation on both rear tires.
Firestone says this tire is not on recall list. It should be. Ford will take no responsibility. My question to the dealership was whether or not they knew about a problem with Firestone tires at the time they sold me the vechile. If they did know and did not disclose this information to me, they should be held responsible. (dot number: Xx tiresize: P255R7016)
Firestone tires were replaced under recall, consumer paid for the cost of balancing the tires because the dealer she went to first had to give her a raincheck since they didn't have any tires in stock, consumer wants reimbursement.
Dealer refused to replace Firestone tires because they had a dot# vnhl instead of vdhl, consumer also showed dealer radial surface of the tires that are buldging still refused to replace. Nlm
